Christmas Eve Outfit

I posted about my Christmas Day outfit here, but somehow I skipped my Christmas Eve ensemble! I packed pretty lightly for a 10-day vacation so I had to bring pieces that could be mixed and matched. This gold pencil skirt has become a go-to for me (last seen here). How did you dress for the holidays?

A Look Back at 2012

I only started Christine In Color in October, but it seems like so much has happened already! I’m looking forward to sharing outfits with you in 2013! Here’s a look back at some of my favorite looks of 2012. Thank you for reading!

End of Year Recap

Blue & Grey

It’s been a cold and rainy few weeks which was making me think of blues and greys. But those shades can be cheery too. It’s hard not to feel upbeat in a loud print like this J. Crew liberty shirt. And I loveee a cardigan with pockets 🙂

Shirt: J. Crew (old, current version) // Cardigan: Banana Republic (old, similar here) // Skinnies: Target // Shoes: H&M (old, similar splurge) // Bracelet: c/o Color by Amber // Necklace: Baublebar (similar here)

Wardrobe Remix

I did some serious wardrobe remixing! I made my dress into a top, and I’ve worn everything in today’s post in a prior post (except the ring): Dress, skirt, shoes, necklace and earrings, clutch.

Dress: Old Navy (similar) // Skirt: J. Crew (on sale!) // Shoes: ShoeMint (almost sold out!) // Necklace: Baublebar (similar here) // Earrings: Stella & Dot // Ring: J. Crew (old, very similar here) // Clutch: J. Crew (similar here)

In case you don’t believe me that I’m wearing a dress under that skirt 🙂

The skirt was just long enough 🙂

A Checkered Present

Happy Monday, all! I’m really enjoying layering weather. This button down or sweater alone would have been a fine outfit, but kind of boring. When you combine them, you suddenly get an interesting color combination. If it had been a little cooler, I would have gone a step further with a blazer. Each layer you add makes the look more polished. I opted for a rose gold necklace and some bracelets to step up my cozy casual weekend attire.

Don’t forget today is the LAST DAY to enter the Essie giveaway from Sunday’s post! Winner will be announced tomorrow!
